Application Checklist
o Complete application. Legibly print or type complete and accurate answers to all questions. Some questions may require further explanation on a separate page. Application must be signed and dated.
o An official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score from The Educational Testing Service, sent directly to Ohio Northern University College of Law. The institution code for ONU is 1591.
We require a minimum score of: IBT 100, CBT 250 or PBT 600
If your native language is English and/or the majority of your education has been in English, you are exempt from the TOEFL requirement.
o A 300 word essay describing your interest in public service, rule of law and democratic governance. This statement must also describe your future plans for the implementation of law reform and democratization in your country.
o 3 Letters of Recommendation using this form.
o Law school transcripts or other official record of completion of legal education and licensure as an attorney.
Once your application has been evaluated, you may be asked to submit your Transcripts to WES where they will be analyzed and your grades will be converted to a standard 4.0 grading system. Applicants will be asked to order a Comprehensive Course-by-Course Report from World Education Services. The application and further information may be obtained through:
